Direct Tree Services and Consultancy started trading back in 2008 covering Sheffield and the surrounding area, but its roots are much more firmly established in the form of founder and current director, Paul Shepherd, who has spent his whole working life with trees. Starting at a young age, Paul has studied and gained an HND level in Arboriculture, SNC Forestry and Lantra Award Professional Tree Inspection. From there he embarked upon a whole series of tree related jobs in a wide range of countries, with posts ranging from hands on tree surgeon to tree officer and tree consultant.
In recent times, the knowledge and experience gained from such posts has been incorporated into the business. Combined with a well-trained, capable team of tree surgeons and groundsmen, this sets Direct Tree Services and Consultancy apart from many of its competitors. They have a true understanding of the mechanisms of trees and the importance they play in our environment, as well as the potential risk they can pose when unhealthy or damaged. Whilst Paul Shepherd's significant experience with trees provides him with the knowledge to provide detailed tree surveys and consultancy reports.
Implementing the highest standards and following BS codes of practice (BS3998):2010 our professional team work hard to ensure targets are reached and customer satisfaction is met.
With a client base that includes domestic householders, nursing homes, schools, religious centres, golf courses, builders and local authorities, Direct Tree Services and Consultancy continues to expand and lead the way forward in tree related work in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.
